Purpose

<aside> 🚘 The main goal of this project was to learn more about an average car suspension system and to improve my modeling skills. I felt going into this project I had a solid understanding of how a suspension system works but as I progressed I realized I had a very baseline understanding. This helped show me how there is always room for improvement no matter what stage you are at.

Changes

Throughout this project, I followed a series of tutorials on YouTube unfortunately the creator often did not use good modeling practices such as undimensioned lines and accepting errors when they occurred. Due to this, I made some changes as I progressed to avoid these practices so that I wouldn’t do the same. I also made cosmetic changes whenever possible so that I could improve my 3D CAD skills by just observing a picture of an object. This can be seen with the tread pattern and the style of the rims.

Learned

During this project, I learned that it is important to not blindly listen to someone and it is important to think critically about what they are telling you and if it is the correct thing to do in that scenario. In this case, this included changing small things about the model so that they were more correct or made in a more correct manner.
